Removing Stains From Different Types Of Flooring

All floors are subject to lots of traffic and sometimes spills and accidents happen resulting in a stain. With floor coverings like carpet, most stains can be removed using a solution of white vinegar and borax. Mix them together and rub into the stain and then when dry, vacuum up the mixture and the stain should be gone. Concrete polishing companies on The Gold Coast suggest it is not so easy with other types of flooring

Asphalt tiles

Stains and war and tare can often be removed from asphalt tiles using a solution of 1 cup of fabric softener in half a bucket of water. Apply with a mop without flooding the floor and use steel wool with floor wax to remove any stubborn stains

Brick flooring

Brick flooring is porous so needs to be treated with a good surface sealer and waxed.

Vacuum it at least once a week…
